Job Description: Classroom and Driving training for Teen Driver Ed classes and adult driving lessons.
Teen Driver Ed classroom is taught on weekdays Monday-Friday between 3:30pm-5:30pm or 6pm-8pm.
Summer hours: 10am-12pm, 2pm-4pm, and 6pm-8pm vary!
Driving lessons are scheduled on weekdays and weekends.
If you already have a Driving Instructor License, you might start working with us immediately upon hire.
All other driving instructor candidates should go through mandatory training.
Expected hire date is 4-6 weeks after the start of the training process.
We need committed individuals who will work seriously after training and hire.
Requirements:
- Valid Class D Regular Driver License
- Good driving record
- 3+ years of licensed driving experience is required.
- A person's driving record shall not be considered satisfactory to hold an instructor's license if that person
- Accumulated more than 6 demerit points during a 1 year period.
- Have been involved in 2 or more accidents in a 1-year period where the person may have been negligent.
- His/Her/They operator's license revoked, suspended or cancelled at any time during the past 4 years.
